Laura B. Henderson LLC values and protects the intellectual property (IP) created in the course of delivering essential services. This policy outlines the ownership, use, and protection of intellectual property related to company operations, materials, and contributions.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

All employees, contractors, and temporary staff  

All materials, content, and processes developed under the Laura B. Henderson LLC brand  

All service areas, including food handling, logistics, support services, and future expansions  

2. Company-Owned Intellectual Property

All intellectual property created by employees or contractors during the course of their work for Laura B. Henderson LLC is the exclusive property of the company. This includes:

Training materials, manuals, and guides  

Branding assets (logos, slogans, designs)  

Operational procedures and service models  

Digital content, forms, and templates  

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, individuals may not reproduce, distribute, or use company-owned IP for personal or external purposes.

3. Third-Party Materials

Any third-party content used (e.g., licensed software, external training resources) must be properly credited and used in accordance with licensing agreements. Unauthorized use of third-party IP is strictly prohibited.

4. Employee and Contractor Contributions

If an individual creates original content or tools outside the scope of their assigned duties, ownership may remain with the creator. However, if such content is integrated into company operations, Laura B. Henderson LLC may negotiate usage rights or transfer of ownership.

5. Use of Company IP

Employees and contractors may use company IP only for authorized business purposes. Unauthorized use, sharing, or modification of company materials is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.

6. Protection and Enforcement

Laura B. Henderson LLC reserves the right to:

- Register trademarks, copyrights, or other IP protections  

- Monitor and enforce IP usage  

- Pursue legal action against infringement or misuse  

7. Reporting Concerns

Any suspected misuse or infringement of company intellectual property should be reported to management immediately.
